One would think that an organization based on the principles taught by the Chofetz Chaim of Radin would be extremely scrupulous in its dealings with people, specifically financial dealings. It is normal to expect spiritual leaders who invoke the name of the Chofetz Chaim to be careful in all matters, whether they revolve around religious observance or business dealings which by default reflect on religious observance as well. How can Rabbis borrow money and have an extensive history of nonpayment of loans and disregard for summonses to appear in court? How can Rabbis with a history of evading federal taxes and tax obligations in the town of Ramapo be trusted again to build a development in the town?
